Ryan walked, wincing and groaning in pain as he did so.

The moment Ryan reached the stake the guatds tied him to it. Zen walked up to him with a torch. "You can still accept me...I can forgive you if you rejoin my side"

Ryan spit at him. "Never. I'd rather die than be your puppet again."

"Its such a shame...to know my father doesnt wish to be with me" Zen said with a sigh

"W-what?! There's no way you're my son!"

Zen tossed his torch at the wood "you will never learn the truth" Zen said walking away

Ryan cried out as the flames climbed to him.

Suddenly Yuki as a male jumped out and pulled him away. She and Ren had been planning an attack and ren was commanding the army

Rens army attacked to give Yuki cover to get away.

Yuki ran away with Ryan and hid at the secret rendezvous spot ren planned

Zen was furious and began to attack searching for Ryan

Ren was there waiting for them. "Everything go ok, sis?"

"Yeah I managed to get mom back safe" Yuki said holding him

"That's wonderful, it's good to see him free of dad, but now we gotta worry about dad finding us."

Yuki nodded looking down at a Ryan "are you alright mom?"

Ryan slowly woke up. "Y-yuki? Why are you here with Ren?"

Yuki smiled still a man "we came to rescue you"

"We had to free you from dad, mom."

"I'm happy that you did, I feel like myself again after all these years."

Yuki smiled and nodded. Ryan would have been curious about what Zen said at the stake

"Zen said something that troubled me....he said he was my son. If that's truly the case, I have to stop him and bring him to the side of good."

"Hmmn but mom the only son you've ever had was...well dad..." Yuki said finding it bizzare

"That's what concerns me...he killed Ryo when we were pulled back here, but it might be possible that his spirit is residing in Zen."

"Hmm I wondered about that. I did find it strange dad's body disappeared when he was stabbed...but there has to be more too it.i found out our bloodline is immune to mind influence from other bloodlines...the only way Zen would have been able to control you was if he had the same blood...and he was able to control you even before dad died..." Yuki said

"That's true too...I don't remember any other children before we headed to the other world though....unless it was a child that I had when I was straight, but that was so long ago."

"That is impossible..." Yuki said but suddenly was knocked away and dropped Ryan

Ryan groaned as he hit the ground. "What...who?"
