The priest sighed.

"You two are family to me, but I can't just ignore this taboo act."

Sara gave him a warm smile that would have reminded him of the smiles she gave hin when she was a child. "Whatever you choose to do just know I am grateful for all you've done for me and my mom and I love you grandpa" Sara said

The priest was torn on what to do.

"I can't just execute you....if anything, exile should be a fitting punishment."

The priest was given one week to decide a punishment. Despite his love for them, he stuck to his duty strongly and incest was something he just could not excuse.

Sara sat in her cold cell wearing only thin rags

The priest led her to the execution ground, hoping that Rin would show up and save her, not wanting to see Sara die.

Sara weakly walked to the execution ground. The area was far to guarded. Numerous people had gathered

The priest tied her to a stake and started to light the wood on fire.

Sara looked out at the crowd wondering what they thought of her and began to cough due to the smoke and fall unconscious. The flames starting to creep up at her

The crowd cheered, crying out for the death of the heretic.

Rin pushed her way through the crowd.

Sara remained barely awake, the flames slowly starting to nip at her feet

Rin quickly leaped up and cut Sara free. She took her and ran before the guards could catch her.

As rin began to run suddenly there were screams as beasts ran into town from the village. The beasts began to wreck havoc on the town. Only Rin was strong enough to deal with them. Since Rin would not be able to fight holding Sara, Rin had to make the choice of putting Rin down and risking the chance that the towns people might do something to herso she could fight off the beasts or she could abandon them and run away with Sara. Despite what happened sara and rin would still deep down have love for the town due to the townspeoples kindness

Rin put Sara someplace safe as she fought off the beasts.

Each of the beast started to get killed off. Suddenly Sara let out a scream as a beast ran straight at her but suddenly a guard knocked the beast away. Suddenly a group of guards and townspeople gathered around Sara but instead of attaking her it looked like they were guarding her, risking their life for her

Rin sighed in relief as she continued to drive off the beasts.

Eventually the beasts were driven off

Rin sighed in relief and headed back to get Sara.

The people moved so she could get to Sara, most of them having taken wounds trying to guard Sara

Rin picked Sara up and held her.

"Are you alright, love?"

Sara smiled before falling unconscious due to fatigue

Rin took her home, despite all that had happened. She felt that the townspeople wouldn't bother them after what happened.

With everything that happened the town was grateful for Rin's help. The priest would have to speak to Rin about it. His secretary was with him

Rin laid Sara on the couch as the priest and secretary showed up.

"I take it you're here to talk about what happened? You know despite incest being taboo, I don't regret it, as I love my daughter with all my heart. That being said, I couldn't just abandon the town either."
