"I wish there was...so many have died"

"The only thing we can do is keep trying."

Maya nodded but was a bit surprised "oh, it seems we are missing a few mushrooms"

"I'll go and fetch them."

"thank you dear"

Nathan bounded off to grab the mushrooms.

Maya smiled as she was mixing the potions. The villagers were in a state of panic due to the virus and were beginning to think Maya was the cause due to her being a witch and the fact that she had gotten younger and that hybrids were unaffected. The grandson of her grandfather and the current king of the kingdom was infatuated with Maya and was enraged when Maya chose Nathan over him.

The king sent soldiers to capture her.

Maya looked up thinking they were customers

The soldiers grabbed her and dragged her off.

"what the! Let go of me!"

The soldiers brought her before the king.

Maya glared

"Spreading a nasty virus through my kingdom, eh? Here I thought you were such a good woman, but i might change my mind, if you become mine."

"you disgust me, utilizing the people's fear like this?"

"Take her to the dungeon, perhaps some time there will change her mind."

Maya glared and struggled in vain

The soldiers took her to the dungeon.

Maya was put in the dungeon and chained up

The king began to plan out her torture.

Maya struggled while chained

The torturer came down and started whipping her.

Maya immediately closed her eyes and whimpered slightly as she was whipped

The torturer continued to whip her and laugh.
