Ryan had wrapped his feet as a form of insult.

"So what would you have us do, sis?"

Ryo's eyes widened "what are you doing?!" Ryo yelled

"we prepare for war" Ria said

"I know how much you like being barefoot, so I'm denying you that."

Lucrecia nodded and had the troops get to training.

Ryo cried

Nathan leaned against the wall after hearing Ryo being returned from torture. "How are you holding up, son?"

"It hurts so much and these bindings on my feet are torture" Ryo said sniffling

"It'll be alright, just focus that pain into energy. Use it to fuel your magic."

Ryo nodded and tried and failed "the execution is coming soon..." Ryo said wondering what was going on outside

"They're probably holding a festival or something to celebrate."

Ryo began to sob

The time of the execution was upon them.

Ryo sat in his cell still wearing his rag and the bindings on his feet. The execution site was far away from the castle and Nathan would want Ryo to walk straight down it towards the execution site.

The guards fetched Ryo for Ryan and he walked him to the execution site.

Ryo rose to his feet. Nathan would have made the walk torturous for Ryo and Ryo's bindings on his feet would have protected his feet.

Ryan had designed the walk to force the bindings open and hurt his feet the whole way.

Ryo walked as the bindings broke and he walked barefoot through the rough path weakly

Ryan laughed as he watched him suffer.

Ryo walked on. People would have crowded the side of the path

The people taunted him and cheered for Ryan.

Ryo just looked down and walked

Eventually they arrived at the site.

Ryo looked up at the execution site

The site was centered around a large stake. "Ready to burn, traitor?"

Ryo looked down as tears ran down his face. Nathan would make a big speech about the execution and taunts

Ryan made his speech, going on about how treasonous Ryo was and how he and his people deserved to be put to death. The guards tied Ryo to the stake.
