"I had to deal with my darkness when I was your age as well. Once you can control it, you can use its power to your advantage. We need to make you able to control it first before we can worry about that."

"That's why you must work on the shield spell as well while you work to master the binding spell. The more sucessful attacks the darkness makes on you, the harder it will be to bind, as it will gain more power."
