Suddenly the powers stopped working. Unknown to Mana her mother was actually Ryo as well. Ryo had turned into a hybrid and had mated with another hybrid at the time but kept it a secret. There was no way for anybody to know Mana was a demigod as well.

The two were heavily soaked, their bodies being quite visible through their wet clothes. Yuri stood up and shook the water off her before begrudgingly offering a hand to Mana to help her up, which was difficult to do because of her pride.
