Ryo smiled softly "You have been like my knight and I have been like your witch"

"When you say things like that, you make me think that together, we can win our freedom."

Ryo smiled and closed his eyes and rested his head on his chest "I'd love that...I love you dad"

"I love you too."

Ryo smiled as he rested on his chest but he was unaware that Ryan was back and was about to barge in after having found out about the impersonator

Ryan's yell could be heard from down the hall. "Ryo, it's him."

Ryo's eyes widened as he was laying ontop of Nathan. By the time the would be able to move Ryan would already have barged in

Ryan kicked in the door. "So here I find you. What on earth has gotten into you?"

Ryo's looked at him in fear. Ryan would have been enraged and betrayed causing him to want to punish him. Ryan would put Ryo in a cell and decided what to do with him with his advisers

Ryan had Ryo dragged off to a cell.

"dad!" Ryo cried as he was pulled away and thrown into a cell

Nathan attacked Ryan, but in his weakened state he couldn't do much but scratch him. "I'll deal with you later. I must deal with my traitor of a wife." He said, leaving Nathan in the cell.

Ryo was in the cell crying

Nathan heard his voice from the other side of the wall. "It'll be ok, son. Use this time to train your magic, so that you might free us both." he said before passing out.

Ryan met with his advisors.

Ryo cried "y-yeah" Ryo said

The advisers were with Ryan "My lord, surely now you realize that your wife is not needed! He is a slut! He will continue to betray you! Its time we set up an ultimate execution! We will make it a grand and glorious event and we will make it a celebration as we burn the slut before all to see in the middle of the town. Although it will take us months to set up such an event, but we can make him suffer in the meantime" the adviser said

"Make them both suffer and despair."

"ah but my lord we don't have to do anything to Nathan as merely having Ryo suffer will be enough" the adviser said as Ryan didn't care about Nathan anymore

"Then do it, and prepare the execution. I have a kingdom to run."

the adviser nodded knowing that all Nathan desired was getting pure revenge on Ryo

OOC: time skip

Ria was immediately running through the castle towards the throne room and burst in. Usually a mere concubine wouldn't be allowed to do that especially if Lucrecia was dealing with kingdom business

The guards tried to hold her back, but Lucrecia called them off.  "What seems to be the matter?" She asked, knowing that Ria wouldn't interrupt without a good reason.

"its mom! that bastard ryan has announced he will execute mom in a month!"

Lucrecia jumped to her feet. "That bastard....I want the army ready. We'll end him before that can happen."

"we can't be rash! they will be expecting that!" Ria said

Ryo was in the cell. He was to be dressed by Nathan now that he was a prisoner.

"Well what would you have us do, nothing?! I refuse to let him kill mom and dad!"

Ryan dressed him in shabby rags.

Ryo looked down at his feet

"we can't...we need to act during the execution as this would be the prime opprotunity as mom is out in the open and not in their fortress! Regardless this will end up as a war"
