"oh I would love you Lara...but I cant..." Ryo said looking away

"But why not, mom?!" Lara had tears in her eyes.

"because of the rules of the kingdom...my marriage with your father is unbreakable and I can't marry any other.." Ryo said

Rena walked up behind him. "Oh we can fix that easy, brother. I know you'll be much happier with Lara than you will be with me. We just have to find a loophole."

Ryo smiled "I want to marry her, but its easier said than done"

"Well lucky for you, I found a nice loophole, that's part of why I was out on business before the two of you found your feelings for each other. The queen of the kingdom I was at is going to kidnap you, and Lara is gonna rescue you. Saving a member of the royal family, no matter who the person doing the saving is, gets a boon from the king, that's me. Lara wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled. "You mean the boon I ask for can be to marry mom, and it has to be granted no matter what?!"

Ryo teared up as well "then that means everything will turn out perfect!"

"It'll work out for all of us, cause said queen wants to marry me, seeing that she's single, so once the two of you get married, Lara is gonna be the king here."

Ryo smiled happily but looked over at Lara "think of this as a test to show that our love is true and that you've earned my hand...I want this to be as challenging as possible...I want this abduction as realistic as possible..." Ryo said as he looked over at Rina "have us forget about this until I am saved...I want the queen to put as much retaliation as possible" Ryo said

Rena clapped her hands, making magic wash over them to forget their plan. "Dunno what you meant there, brother. You two have fun now, I'm gonna go take care of some business."

Lara smiled at him.

Suddenly, foreign soldiers came charging in, grabbing Ryo.

"wh-what!? let go of me!" Ryo yelled

Lara tried to fight them off, but she was overpowered. The soldiers quickly left with Ryo, Lara following them.

Ryo struggled in vain "let go! Lara help!" Ryo yelled even though Lara wouldn't be able to catch up

Lara soon lost them, but continued to follow their trail as far as she could.

The soldiers brought him to the kingdom of the queen that the plan had been formed with and laid him before her. "How interesting, such a girly man. With you here, I can hold you hostage until I get what I want."

"Release me at once! My husband and daughter will make you pay" Ryo said with a glare

"I plan on your husband coming for you, it's her I truly want." She smirked and had Ryo chained up.

"my husband?! you won't get away with this!" Ryo said spitting at her unaware that the plan also involved an false execution, giving Lara a time limit

"Oh but I will, because you will be executed if she doesn't accept."
