Mike had to escort the prisoner back to his employer so he could get paid. He was hoping that the prisoner didn't want to bring Sue with them, because he hated having excess baggage on a job.

Mike returned home with his pay, glad to be rid of Sue. He waited for his next job. He knew that Sue would have a hard time working because of the governor, but he really didn't care. If she wanted to work that badly, the governor would have to be killed, but he knew she didn't have the skill to pull that off.

Unknown to Sue, the governor was actually a very violent woman that would kill anyone that barged into her office.
